Siyahleba is not one to delve into politicians’ personal lives, but she did wonder a little after coming across a story that ACDP leader Kenneth Meshoe was getting married again after his wife died in January last year.

While some might raise brows and wonder if it was not too soon, Meshoe has said the Bible maintains that it is not good for a man to be alone.

He also claims that, before she passed away, his wife recommended his new spouse. Meshoe said:

My late wife told me, ‘this lady, I want her to take my place in leading women’s destiny’. She loved her.

Siya reserves her comment on this one.

The killer of struggle icon Chris Hani, Janusz Walus, is yet to be seen in public, despite having been released from jail almost 18 months ago.

But this week, TV viewers got a chance to see his daughter Ewa, who is here to negotiate for his deportation to his native Poland.

Ewa made a bizarre revelation that her 10-year-old daughter does not want to meet Walus. But probably the most interesting titbit of the eNCA interview was:

In Poland, they call him the ice man because of the colour of his eyes. But he is able to look with love.

There was a time when Makhosi Khoza was a proud challenger of authority, taking on Jacob Zuma, among others. She was an outspoken and respected MP.

But, after hopping from one party to the next, including expulsion from the party she formed, she has now truly degenerated. Khoza is now part of a political party that essentially calls for Zulu exclusivism.

She goes around complaining about how the Zulus are not recognised in their own province and such other crap. We know you have to sing for your supper, but this is beyond embarrassing Ma’m.

The DA recently released a controversial election ad in which the national flag is consumed by flames. Many took to social media to criticise the party, with former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela expressing disappointment, saying the DA could have used other ways to send its message. Do you think the DA took it too far with this ad?
