Tributes pour in for local celebrity stylist Iko Mash

Celebrity hairstylist and Rhythm City actor Iko Mash has died, according to reports by The Daily Sun.

Mash shot to popularity as a transgender character Zahr, on eTV’s Rhythm City, was widely known within the LGBTIQ community and styled some of the country’s biggest names, including Khanyi Mbau.

At this stage no details are known about Mash’s death, but it is believed that the much-loved artist died on Friday morning after a battle with cancer.

Condolences have already started pouring in.
