Maimane: Zuma must voetsek

accreditation

Democratic Alliance supporters came out in their thousands and marched to the Constitutional Court on Friday morning where party leader Mmusi Maimane addressed them saying that President Jacob Zuma must “voetsek” and go to jail.

Maimane led the march from Pieter Roos Park in Johannesburg and told supporters that Zuma can keep his apology and step down.

The march comes after a Constitutional Court judgment that Zuma failed to uphold the Constitution when he did not comply with Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s remedial action regarding the misuse of public funds for the non-security upgrades to his Nkandla homestead.

The DA recently released a controversial election ad in which the national flag is consumed by flames. Many took to social media to criticise the party, with former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela expressing disappointment, saying the DA could have used other ways to send its message. Do you think the DA took it too far with this ad?
