Rapulana Seiphemo is ‘responding well’ after surgery following car crash

Veteran actor Rapulana Seiphemo, who plays Tau Mogale on Generations: The Legacy, is recovering well at Milpark hospital after having major surgery yesterday. 

According to the family’s spokesperson, Mduduzi Sikhakhane, Seiphemo is “responding well”. 

He added that they would not stop praying for Seiphemo. 

The actor was involved in a collision on the N14 near Diepsloot, north of Johannesburg on Sunday night. 

According to a statement from ER24, two men were killed and four others were injured after two vehicles collided on the N14 near the R55, next to Diepsloot. 

Despite confirming the collision, paramedics were not at liberty to reveal the identity of patients. 

“We can’t reveal any names of two people who died and those four injured at this stage,” said Tshwane spokesperson Isaac Mahamba 

“We are still investigating the cause of the crash,” he said. 

Seiphemo is a heavyweight in the showbiz industry, and has also starred in a number of films including: the Oscar-award winning film Tsotsi, Jerusalema, Paradise Stop and Hijack Stories.
