DA Leader Maimane to lead protest at President Zuma's capture site by DA Media
Today, Thursday 05 October, Democratic Alliance (DA) Leader, Mmusi Maimane, will lead a protest at the capture site of President Jacob Zuma in Saxonwold, Johannesburg, in protest of State Capture and grand corruption carried out by Jacob Zuma, his ANC, and the Gupta Family.
While many South Africans fought for a free and democratic South Africa, our progress has been stalled over the past decade as our country has been captured by a small group of connected cronies who raid public money to make themselves rich.
Jacob Zuma and his ANC have been willingly captured by the Gupta family, who have become billionaires while more than half of all South Africans are trapped in poverty.
Our country needs a new beginning, and total change. We need a government committed to fighting for the poor and the jobless, not the rich and the connected few.
Maimane will be joined by DA National Spokespersons, Refiloe Nt'sekhe and Phumzile van Damme, and DA Regional Chairperson, Khume Ramulifho.
