Metrorail regional manager in the Western Cape, Richard Walker, says Monday's fatal shooting of train driver Piet Botha was caught on camera thanks to their new ISAM system and the installation of CCTV cameras at stations. Watch.

News24 spoke to Walker at a COSATU protest outside Cape Town's city council offices on Tuesday where they handed over a memorandum to city officials demanding an improved public transport service and better safety for workers.
