Previous postal strike cost Post Office R55m

With the postal strike entering its third month, the South African Post Office and Commercial Workers Union are trying desperately to table an agreement that suits both parties.

Casual workers are insisting on permanent contracts with benefits, which SAPO cannot afford. SAPO's financial woes however began long before the current spate of unrest. Watch.
