More than four years after the death of footballer Senzo Meyiwa, his killing remains unsolved.

Look back on our reporting on a case that has gripped the nation:

Police suspicions were raised after they were informed by intelligence sources that one of the witnesses confided to “some people” that he had been coached about what to include in his statement.

We understand this man said he was not sleeping well at night knowing he had lied.

Kelly Khumalo’s confidantes say the last straw was when Sam Meyiwa slammed her latest song, titled Senzo, which she wrote in tribute to the father of her youngest child. Meyiwa told Daily Sun that she recorded the song just to irritate his family.

Kelly has the audacity to serve me with a letter ordering me to stop mentioning her name in my interviews, when I’m the one who lost a son.

Kelly Khumalo was planning to have the name of her slain boyfriend, Senzo Meyiwa, tattooed on her body to honour his memory, but decided against it because it may affect her future relationships.

Senzo was honest about his emotions and an open book. You would feel when he was annoyed or excited.
