In the 1990s, white people voted against apartheid. With that, they admitted everything Makhanya claims they refused to admit. It’s high time black people realised that. Obviously, black people want far more.
It looks like they want white people to give up their accumulated privilege – possessions, language and culture. And if that’s not enough, they also want white people to be stripped of their self-respect.

This discussion really hit at the essence of the current situation in our beloved country with honesty and sincerity. But the question remains: Why are we now in this predicament?
There is a third leg to the first two Makhanya and Du Plessis so beautifully painted. And it’s the most important one.
It is the government of the day that is responsible for the creation of a friendly and comfortable environment.

Makhanya says the anger against white South Africans is a dangerous one. “When they are turned to loving, they will find that we are turned to hating.” Words (threats?) that give one the chills. He also says anger has never been this palpable since 1994. If he is right, we have great cause for concern. Maybe we can start by making anger colourless. Against everything that is so very, very wrong
