Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma on Thursday announced regulations for level 3 of the national lockdown under which limited inter-provincial travel, the sale of alcohol and religious gatherings allowed from June 1.

Dlamini-Zuma, speaking on behalf of the national command council, said from Monday people will be able to buy alcohol between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Thursday.

The alcohol will only be consumed at home.
