accreditation

The Sweety My Baby singer Sipho Charles Ndlovu, known by his stage name Brickz, was found guilty of rape by the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court on Friday afternoon. This after the rape case dragged on for three years.

Brickz was accused of raping a 17-year-old girl in November 2013 at his home in Ruimsig. City Press reported at the time that it was the Kwaito star’s wife, Nqobile Ndlovu, that found out about the rape and reported him to the police.

During the trial sordid details of couple’s sex life emerged including a life of threesomes.

"I thought allowing him to have sexual intercourse with other women in my presence will save my marriage,”  Nqobile testified.

After spending a month behind bars, he was released on R50 000 bail when he took his application to the Johannesburg High Court. Bail was immediately revoked when he was convicted and he was led to the holding cells.

Brickz is expected back in court on July 20 for sentencing.
