Some DA leaders are up in arms and have criticised a federal executive (FedEx) decision to hold the party’s leadership election at the end of October via a virtual platform.
Their main bone of contention is that such a decision significantly favours interim leader John Steenhuisen.
A DA leader, who supports youth leader Mbali Ntuli, said the decision to go ahead with the conference would unfairly disadvantage Ntuli and Gauteng provincial leader John Moodey.
