The fear is real and the people of Sundays River Valley in the Eastern Cape are in a panic.
The local municipality is in the Sarah Baartman district, a citrus area with an estimated R3 billion annual turnover.
The valley consists of three small towns – Addo, Patterson and Kirkwood – with townships Valencia, Mabhida and Bersag, as well as some illegal shack dwellings between the farmlands.
