EFF leader Julius Malema has sent a stern warning to South Africans not to attend church services, describing them as “a trap”.

Addressing an online media briefing on Thursday, the leader of the red berets encouraged people to pray in the comfort of their own homes, noting that their health would be at risk if they decided otherwise.

He then pleaded with churches to do what’s in the best interest of their congregants.
