Days after announcing that the country will be moving to level 3 on June 1, President Cyril Ramaphosa has once again eased regulations, this time regarding places of worship.
Ramaphosa said the easing of these regulations will be done in a careful manner, restricting the number of attendees to 50 to observe social distancing.
The president said following consultation with religious leaders, “the current restrictions on congregational worship will be eased in a carefully measured way”.
