The Constitutional Court has dismissed an application for leave to appeal the case involving Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan and the SA Revenue Service (Sars) “rogue unit” report.
The application was lodged by the EFF and Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane last year.
They were seeking to appeal an order by the Pretoria High Court that interdicted the Public Protector’s remedial action against Gordhan while he took her report on review.
