It all started, as so many political storms do, with a rumour:
Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas had been offered the job of finance
minister by the politically connected Gupta family before Nhlanhla Nene was
fired by President Jacob Zuma.
Not taking that lying down, Mentor retaliated with a detailed post about how Zuma knew her, including that she chaired the ANC national parliamentary caucus when Zuma was deputy president.
While South Africa is waiting with bated breath for the next salvo to be fired, people had a ball on social media.

Every 2sec I check #VytjieMentor Facebook account. It takes a woman who depends on nothing but faith in God to speak truth to power.
