Former SuperSport United captain Dean Furman epitomises the kind of leadership quality Bafana Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki expects from his players in the national team.

On Tuesday the club announced that it had parted ways with the midfield workhorse with immediate effect. Ntseki hailed the 31-year-old for having the “personality and the right attitude”.

Furman, who has 50 Bafana caps, is back in England to be close to his family and his expectant wife, SuperSport said in a statement.
