Pitso Mosimane has signed a new contract at Mamelodi Sundowns – but he may no longer be calling all the shots.

City Press has learnt that the appointment of a new technical director at Downs could result in Mosimane not being in total control of that department.

This after Sundowns boss Patrice Motsepe announced during a conference in Sandton on Thursday that José Ramón Alexanko had been promoted from the Brazilians’ head of youth to head of the technical structure in the senior team.
