Leicester City can lift the Premier League title today if they secure a win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
After a remarkable season, the Foxes need just three more points from their remaining three matches to secure their first-ever title triumph.
The league leaders recently dropped points in a 2-2 draw with West Ham, but bounced back with a 4-0 thrashing of Swansea City in their most recent match, making it six wins from their last seven.
United, meanwhile, will do what they can to make sure the party is not hosted at the Theatre of Dreams, but they also have their own ambitions to worry about.
The Red Devils harbour hopes of sneaking into the top four at the expense of Arsenal, while West Ham are hot on their heels, posing a threat to United’s grip on fifth place.
Louis van Gaal’s side enter the match after back-to-back wins over Aston Villa and Crystal Palace in recent weeks, but they were beaten 3-0 by second-placed Tottenham prior to that. They will have to be better than they were against Spurs, and may well be happy to settle for another draw after their 1-1 stalemate at the King Power Stadium earlier in the campaign.
In team news, Leicester will have to do without the services of star striker Jamie Vardy, who misses out again due to suspension.
For United, Adnan Januzaj (hamstring), Bastian Schweinsteiger (medial collateral ligament), and Will Keane (groin/pelvis) are all expected to miss out.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Liverpool will follow up their midweek adventure in Spain with a trip to Wales to face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
A 2-2 draw with Newcastle United in their most recent match ended a three-match winning streak for the Reds, while the Swans enter the match off back-to-back defeats to the Magpies and the Foxes.
In team news, Liverpool are hoping to see Philippe Coutinho recover from illness in time to feature, but those ruled out through injury include Divock Origi (ankle), Emre Can (ankle), and Jordan Henderson (lateral collateral ligament).
Swansea have just two injury concerns, with Leroy Fer and Alberto Paloschi both expected to miss out with hamstring injuries.
Manchester City, meanwhile, will try to tighten their grip on third place when they take on Southampton at St Mary’s in today’s late game.
In team news, City will be hoping to have Samir Nasri available after picking up a muscular injury. Southampton, meanwhile, are hoping to have striker Charlie Austin (knee) available.
Tottenham will be watching the Leicester-vs-United encounter with keen interest before their visit to Stamford Bridge tomorrow to face bitter London rivals Chelsea.
