Beloved late South African kwaito star Mduduzi Edmund Tshabalala, best known as Mandoza, now has his own exclusive T-shirt range.

Created by Le Coq Sportif, for which he was a brand ambassador, the shirts sourced inspiration from his upcoming posthumous album cover and took into consideration his iconic sunglasses that never left his face.

Mandoza’s family and close friends are excited about the launch of the merchandise and hope the country will show its love and support.

“In anticipation of his album release, we want to remind the country what a legend Mandoza was. This T-shirt line certainly came at the right time,” said Mandoza’s former manager, Curwyn Eaton.

The T-shirts retail for R499 – sizes XS to XXL – and are available in black, white and green from selected Le Coq Sportif stores.

In 2023, his predecessor, Xolani Khumalo, was nabbed for the alleged murder of a suspected drug dealer. What's your take on this?
