Hip-hop moves so rapidly that we may forget moments that were. Around 2007, in a time of krump and crunk, four artists from Joburg called themselves Jozi and gave us Muthaland Crunk, an album that became the flavour of the culture. Phumlani S Langa chats with Da L.E.S and Ishmael about the rise of the group, its dissolution and where they’re at now
