The Covid-19 coronavirus has had a devastating effect on our lives and will continue to have for the foreseeable future. It has introduced what we now call the new normal, a complexity that affects everyone.

The rich have survival tools for the foreseeable future, but the less fortunate have only the government on which to rely. And the government itself needs a shoulder to cry on as resources are depleted.

Political brinkmanship has started to show, with some opportunists seeing an electoral opportunity out of the hurricane called Covid-19.
