Sello “Chicco” Twala on Tuesday handed his son, Longwe, over to the Diepkloof Police Station in Soweto for allegedly stealing his friend’s cellphone.

In a video clip that has gone viral on social media, the fuming veteran music producer says he wishes it was Longwe who killed Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa so that he could rot in jail.

Longwe, who was dating Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandi at the time, was reportedly present on October 26 2014 at Meyiwa’s girlfriend’s house, Kelly, when Meyiwa what shot dead by an alleged robber.

The murder case remains unsolved.

“I would never stand for this sh*t. My name has been destroyed [because of Longwe]. Everyone when they see Chicco, they see a criminal and drug lord,” Twala can be heard shouting in the video.

“I’ve worked hard for my name ... I would rather bury you,” he continues.

He also says he will oppose Longwe’s bail vigorously.

Speaking to City Press on Friday, Twala said he has had enough of his son’s bad behaviour.

“I even chased him from my house. He is now a street kid.”

He also confirmed that Longwe was still behind bars.

The DA recently released a controversial election ad in which the national flag is consumed by flames. Many took to social media to criticise the party, with former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela expressing disappointment, saying the DA could have used other ways to send its message.
