“Everyone calls me Nomfundo because that is my birth name. But I am also Gogo Nomakhosi. That is my gogo name and gogo’s journey started when I was 14 or 15 years of age,” Nomfundo Dhlamini says.
Having gone through the Nguni and Ndau process under iMpande yaMajoye to become the traditional healer she is today, and now largely led by the spirit of amaKhosi, Dhlamini says that, initially, she “did not see the correlation between success and being a traditional healer”.
