40TH BIRTHDAY

Safa president Danny Jordaan believes City Press played a huge role in uniting people in South Africa with football in the 1980s.

“It was a go-to publication for black people in this country. It still is,” said Jordaan when reflecting on the publication’s 40-year existence.
