Queen of the red carpet

It’s high time that actress and singer Dineo Moeketsi gets some style props.

She has had a fab year on the red carpet and always seems to get it particularly right with Quiteria & George, her fave designers – and that’s regardless of whether it’s a day- or night-time event.

She looks even cooler with her beau, rapper Solo, at her side, also dressed to the nines. She really is one of the best dressed celebs in Goliwood.

Our runner-up, rapper, actress and producer Thembi Seete, is another consistently pretty one.

Queen of the live presenters

Best looking presenter of a major live event has to be Bonang Matheba.

As host at the Metro FM Awards she was pure class.

She had six outfit changes in the course of the evening, each different and each elegant and pretty.

Lookbook with the most

Although Marianne Fassler continued to release exquisite “lookbooks” in 2016, we’re going to give this one to her sometimes-collaborator Rich Mnisi.

The young designer owned 2016 and made a particular splash in May with his CMYK lookbook.

That stands for Characters in Media and Youth Kuns and it featured several young creative people in media, including hotties Maps Maponyane and Trevor Stuurman.

With simplicity, precision and understated elegance the personalities of his models stood out with the same impact as the clothing.

The DA recently released a controversial election ad in which the national flag is consumed by flames. Many took to social media to criticise the party, with former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela expressing disappointment, saying the DA could have used other ways to send its message. Do you think the DA took it too far with this ad?
