Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp is on a roll. Not only is his team on top of the Absa Premiership table, 10-points ahead of SuperSport United, but he has been named coach of the month once more for the month of November.
The German is the first coach to win the Absa Premiership Coach of the Month award three consecutive times.
Amakhosi played three games in November, winning all of them, including a win over Soweto derby rivals Orlando Pirates - their first win against the Sea-Robbers in 5 years.
The game against the Buccaneers was also the only game Amakhosi conceded any goals.

“The judging panel believes Chiefs has become a difficult team to break down under Middendorp, while upfront they are scoring with ease. Coach Kaitano Tembo of SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic’s Lehlohonolo Seema also received favourable mentions for their team’s efforts during the month,” the league’s statement read on Wednesday.
SuperSport United’s 21-year-old attacking midfielder, Sipho Mbule, was named player of the month.
Mbule has also been part of the SA under-23 team that qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

“His two goals in United’s away victories over Bidvest Wits and Maritzburg United helped him emerge victorious ahead of Samir Nurkovic from Chiefs, Knox Mutizwa of Golden Arrows and Chippa United’s William Twala,” the PSL said.
Mbule won over the panel with what they described as mature displays in the heart of the midfield for the Tshwane-based club.
Mbule and Middendorp walk away with R5000 each from Absa for their efforts.
