Orlando Pirates head coach Josef Zinnbauer is hoping that his dressing room will turn into a dance floor to usher in another victory for Bucs come Saturday after their epic league fixture against rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
The German tactician was recently seen on a leaked video dancing to the popular “Thembinkosi Lorch” song from the Bucs dressing room.
While Zinnbauer jokingly disapproved to the outsiders peeping into his stumbling dance moves, the 49-year-old did however, expressed his love to the tunes of the popular track titled after his star player.
He said such was one of the behind-the-scenes events that helps to uplift the team spirit and that’s how they roll when Bucs win.
“The song is very good. Yes, it’s often played in the dressing room and the guys are dancing to it. They are fine and it’s good.
“I said to the players that when we win we make a dance together. We win and we dance. I [also] made a little dance,” Zinnbauer told City Press on the sidelines of the pre-derby media conference in Randburg on Thursday, adding that he was looking forward to his maiden appearance in the monumental Soweto clash.

The Lorch number has become a hit at Bucs home games.
Interestingly, the expected sold-out crowd of 90 000 will be entertained by deejays Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, who produced the hit.
Off the field entertainment aside, Zinnbauer said Bucs’ focus was not just on this “special game” but they were building for the future.
“We have to focus on every other game but the derby is a special game for us and the supporters.
And if we do our best we get three points. But the focus is also preparing for next season.”
Pirates head into the game six points adrift of Chiefs at the summit.
A win for Bucs will reinstall them to the second spot, which is currently occupies by defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, who are away on duty in the CAF Champions League against Al Ahly in Egypt on Saturday.
While Zinnbauer fancies an outside chance for his side in the race for the league title, he did not rule out Sundowns, and even Bidvest Wits coming into strong contention to take on the pacesetters Chiefs.
“All three sides at the top have chances for title but Chiefs have the best chance,” he pointed out.
Meanwhile, Chiefs captain Willard Katsande warned that Pirates, unbeaten in eight league games under Zinnbauer, will face the “real test” on Saturday.
“In our last meeting, they were still finding their feet,” said the midfielder in reference to the back-to-back league and cup clashes that Amakhosi won in a space of a week in November.
“[But] we are still on top and we are still on top [of the log]. We want to continue doing well and they are also doing well but they haven’t got the real test. Their real test in on Saturday.”
Chiefs head into the game still reeling from their elimination by Highlands Park from the Nedbank Cup last weekend, while Pirates return to the field have been idle for 12 days without a competitive match.
. The game at FNB Stadium kicks off at 3.30pm
