The judicial commission of inquiry into state capture is expected to hear testimony on Thursday from the Department of International Relations and Cooperation's (Dirco) senior foreign affairs assistant, William Matjila.
The commission is also expected to hear testimony from the acting director general of the Department of Military Veterans, Lieutenant Derrick Mbuyiselo Mgwebi, and chief of the South African Air Force, Lieutenant General Fabian Zimpande Msimang.
Nonkululeko Sindane, former director general of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, told Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo on Wednesday about the justice, crime prevention and security (JCPS) cluster investigation into the Gupta Waterkloof landing of 2013, when 200 guests of the Gupta family landed at the air force base in a commercial aircraft to attend the family's lavish wedding at Sun City.
Ms Sindane says their conclusion was that in this particular event there was a lack of professionalism in terms of how people conducted themselves and that they were not being able to do their work effectively.#StateCaptureInquiry
