WATCH: Nkosana Makate rocks Vodacom with 'Please Call Me' win

The Constitutional Court has ruled that Vodacom must pay the inventor of the Please Call Me SMS product.

Nkosana Makate developed the 'Please Call Me' product in November 2000.

Ending an over 10-year-long long battle with Vodacom over compensation, the Constitutional Court has ruled in Makate's favor.

The court has further ordered Vodacom to commence compensation negotiations for the multi-billion rand idea with Makate within 30 days.
