WATCH: Municipal building set alight in North West protest

A fresh spate of protests erupted in several parts of the North West on Monday, calling for premier Supra Mahumapelo to step down.

Provincial police spokesperson Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said a municipal building was set alight in Stella on Monday morning while a school was burned on Tuesday.

Protesters also looted several shops, set buildings alight and attacked police officials.
