Dear Voices reader and contributor
News24 recently made some exciting changes to its opinions pages to include all its opinions, analysis and reader contributions in one, overarching Voices section.
Until recently, we had three separate platforms for this, namely Columnists, Voices and MyNews24. While this has served us well, we decided in July 2017 to streamline our offering into two platforms to make it more accessible to our readers and contributors. This means the News24 Voices blog has been discontinued as a platform to host opinion pieces.
If you previously published your opinions on the blog, and you want to continue writing for us, you can now email your articles to voices@news24.com or submit them via the MyNews24 portal. A News24 editor will consider submissions for publication. Also head over to the News24 Voices Facebook page, where we discuss topical issues raised in the columns and news analysis of the day.
The old Voices blog will continue to exist for archive purposes in the interim but you will no longer be able to publish articles on it. We look forward to your continued participation in the robust and engaging conversations about all matters that concern South Africans today.
