The Portfolio Committee on Police says that SAPS members should get more training to comply with the Domestic Violence Act

The senior managers of the SA Police Service (SAPS) have been instructed by the Portfolio Committee on Police to increase and enhance training for SAPS members to ensure compliance with the Domestic Violence Act.
The committee’s chairperson, Albert 'Nocks' Seabi, states that this comes after receiving a report on noncompliance with the act and complaints against SAPS members, as required by section 18(4)(a).
