The long-awaited state capture report was finally released earlier today.
At 355 pages, former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s final report was anything but light reading, although Twitter users found the funny side of it.
Many weren’t captured by it, preferring to wait for the “movie version”.
Here’s the best of the reaction to the State of Capture report:

basically Thuli Madonsela's #StateCaptureReport is nothing more than gossip girl material. no damning findings against the Pres whatsoever

Love how @ThuliMadonsela3 wrote out all the big numbers in #StateCaptureReport. Just to make sure that certain people could read them.

Guys, not to be that person but I'm sure Thuli was throwing subtle shade at JZ when she wrote out R659 558 079 in her #StateCaptureReport pic.twitter.com/ABdbnA7dEo

Skimmed through half of the State Capture report... I think the only thing Zuma isn't guilty of is killing Elvis.

So in short the former PP just put up a collection of complaints & named it "state capture" report!
— cris mathumetse (@mr_mathumetse) November 2, 2016
Yet to see where it says Zuma is guilty
ESKOM boss Brian Molefe once said he's been 'captured by the constitution'. Ironically the state capture report has now made that true.

This #StateCaptureReport is a sad thing to read. Especially when you're broke and see all the money people are busy stealing.
