5-MINUTE MUG CAKE
Quick, easy and divine – perfect for lazy days or evenings curled up on the couch.
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp butter
2 bars of Aero Duet/Aero Peppermint (40g for cooking, 25g melted, 20g crushed)
1 egg
4 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Vanilla ice cream (optional)
METHOD
1. Place the butter and 40g Aero chocolate in a microwave-proof mug. Melt the butter and chocolate on high in the microwave for 40 seconds. Then mix well.
2. Beat the egg and add it to the melted chocolate mixture.
3. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder and vanilla essence and stir until combined.
4. Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for two minutes.
5. Remove the mug from the microwave and let it sit for a few minutes to cool.
6. Top the cake with ice cream, 25g melted Aero and 20g crushed Aero pieces.
